958 Santero donates 50,000 euro to the Cervia Saltpan Park

A sip of solidarity: 958 Santero's initiative for the Cervia saltpan park

La solidarity and friendship are priceless, However, they can be vehicles of concrete help. This is what happened through the initiative of 958 Santero, the Piedmontese wine group, which donated 50,000 euro for the historic Cervia saltpan park, in Emilia Romagna, damaged by the disastrous flood a few months ago.

La fundraising was realised through the sale of a bottle of Extra Dry bubbles in special edition and limited with an original illustration by the artist Diego Bormida. To this were added resources made available directly by the company which raised the sum to an impressive EUR 50,000.

A few days ago in Cervia there was the delivery of the cheque by the president of the 958 Santero Group, Gianfranco Santero, to Giuseppe Pomicetti, President of the Cervia Saltpan Park. Also with them was Gabriele Armuzzi, Deputy Mayor with responsibility for Salina, together with Alberto Santaterra, Sales Director 958 Santero and the area representatives of 958 Santero, Matteo Morettini (area manager) and Andrea Rizzo (agent).

Declares Gianfranco Santero, President of the 958 Santero Group: «Ours has been and still is a solidarity operation that was and is to be shared with those who love our bubbles. So that our friends from Emilia Romagna, past this moment of difficulty, return to toast with the verve and the sunny and positive character that has always distinguished them. Unfortunately,' adds Santero, 'we Piedmontese experienced the disastrous flood of 1994 first-hand. Back then, in addition to rolling up our sleeves and relying on ourselves, many gave us help.
