958 Santero for the Scudetto celebration in Naples

In memory of Maradona, the launch of the “D10S” line”

There was also a piece of Piedmont in the celebrations last Saturday in Naples to mark the winning the Serie A football championship. They were the signature bottles of 958 Santero, the winery based in Santo Stefano Belbo in the province of Cuneo, with the effigy of Diego Armando Maradona and the “D10S” logo, a trademark identifying the class and style of the’unforgettable champion who wore the blue jersey.

Explains Gianfranco Santero, president of the Piedmont Wine Group: «We are honoured by the partnership that has allowed us, in synergy with the former manager of the Pibe de Oro, Stefano Ceci, to dedicate original packaging to the myth of Diego Armando Maradona, with special labels which are already a must for collectors and fans not only of football».

The bottles dedicated to Maradona were presented during afestivities which took place in Largo Maradona, one of the corners of the Neapolitan city dearest to the Neapolitans and fans of the champion. There was also a toast through the window opening from the large mural dedicated to Maradona and one banner with the 958 Santero logo.

Says Gianfranco Santero: «The party in Naples could only see us in the front row for paying homage to a splendid city with a unique culture of life and a champion like Diego Armando Maradona who was and is a Football legend international».
