A COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

The launch of Santero Zero Alcohol Free is part of a larger sustainability project. Thanks to the CO₂ Free, we offset the emissions of Scope 1 e Scope 2, achieving an important milestone for a greener future.

The project co₂ free

In 2024, we strengthened our environmental commitment by offsetting emissions through Carbon Offset certificates Verra.
Offset emissions include:

1. Scope 1: combustion of natural gas, movement of the company car fleet, leakage of F-Gas, fermentation of the crushed.
2. Scope 2: purchase of electricity.

Thanks to these initiatives, we continue our path towards an increasingly sustainable production model.

A journey that began in 2021

From 2021, we embarked on a structured path to sustainability, with: 

 - The calculation of the’carbon footprint of the plant according to the standard ISO 14064.

- The implementation of a certified Energy Management System ISO 50001 to optimise and monitor energy consumption. 

These certifications represent our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement in the field of environmental sustainability.

Collaboration with Trigenia

From 2021, we embarked on a structured path to sustainability, with: 

 - The calculation of the’The plant's carbon footprint according to the standard ISO 14064.

- The implementation of a certified Energy Management System ISO 50001 to optimise and monitor energy consumption. 

Trigenia is a’ESCo (Energy Service Company) that supports companies in managing sustainability challenges and reducing environmental impacts, offering integrated solutions and services through projects aimed at maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
